Previously i had posted the Mac OSX Transformation pack for windows 7 RC which is no longer available for download. Today i will be sharing the awesome snow leopard theme which completely transform windows 7 to snow leopard.
Thanks to sagorpirbd from deviant art for creating this free theme which allows you to visualize the Mac OSX Snow Leopard in Windows 7.

How to use the Style
First you need a universel theme patch to apply thirdparty Styles.
Universel theme patch found here :–>> [link]
Now Unzip & Copy Snow Leopard to : c:\windows\resources\themes
Now Go to Desktop Personalize & apply Snow Leopard.
To Move Your Max/Min/Close Buttons Leftside Like Mac Then Use This Portable Software Name “LEFTSIDER” :–>> [link]
Requirements
Windows 7 (X86) 32 bit & Windows 7 (X64) 64 bit .
Aero Compatible PC.

Can upload it as a software to install? It’s very hard for me to change the file one by one, it crash up my os in the end, so i need to reformat. Can i be done in the software way? Like download then install, no need copy file to one by one place.

Actualy deviant art user are pro, but dont know why they dont want to installing program for people to install in the easy way. Why need to ask people do in the hard way. Hope they can come out with the software to install.

Um i tried to do it and stuffed my pc up as part of the instructions was to replace a Shell32.dll file. and that totally stuffed my pc. how did you guys do it?

Ummmmmmmm? Maby if anybody had any smarts, THEY WORLD PERFORM THE TRANSFORMATION IN SAFE MODE MAKING BACKUPS OF THE ORIGINAL FILES SO THE PC WOULDN’T CARE ABOUT CURRENT FILES IN USE LIKE ICONS AND MESS UP THE WAY IT LOOKS!!! Thank you, that is all.

I can’t get it to work. I download the theme, copy/paste it into the theme folder, run the theme patch and it says okay.
But when i apply the theme, all i get is the wallpaper.

this isnt the full theme to make it look like mac snow leopard.. icons are missing etc. but other than that it basically is a windows 7 turned mac snow leopard

why dosent the dock and upper menues with apple logo show? and i dont get any icones it still looks like win 7 just with different close minimize maximize buttons!!!!! why dosent it look like it does in the pictures?? whats wrong???
Make sure you have replaced the explorer and other system files using the “theme installer”

Hey, i managed to replace explorer.exe with cmd in Safe Mode, but it won’t let me modify the dll files in system32.
To replace the dll files use the Windows Theme Installer!!

i thats the thing i have installed on my laptop. i accidentally removed some icons on my dock but the thing is i want to get them back and add more . should i reinstall it?
Today i tested this pack and it takes only a minute to get it unstall
I am pretty sure that reinstalling will fix your problem!
i just use windows installer,place the dll. where it should but i only get the blue apple on the taskbar and just the theme,nothing like the screenshot or the dock

i believe the reason why it doesn’t work for some is because of file and folder permissions in windows… you should edit first Windows’s and System32′s permission setting… and provide full access to you account

I’m trying months now to find a mac theme and i now when the pictures are the theme pictures and when the pictures show just a mac this picture is not a theme picture it’s a mac
Thanks ! The transformation pack is awasome .I installed it in my PC and it works great.
Boy this was supposed to be so simple but as usual 75% of themes are guaranteed not to work for the users.
Here what i have done:
1) I already have UxStyle Core
2) Downloaded the Snow Leopard from the link mentioned above
3) Activated the setup & got the folder.
4) Copied all the three themes to c:\windows\resources\themes (most easy thing to do as have been doing for 10 times a day)
5) desktop > right click> personalize> installed themes> select any1 theme no Mac Snow Leopard theme all i get is Mac OS font that’s it. So much hard work for a font???
Where i went wrong??

Btw i also want to know if i got Rocket Dock/Object Dock/Nexus or any other dock will this theme customize the dock too or do I’ve to get Leopard skin for it (i do have for RocketDock)???

I couldn’t understand how you got a Glass effect just by using a theme?
You need either Glass2k,FullGlass,BlackGlassEnhanced,VistaGlazz etc another apps to give a full glass/transparent effect to explorer.

For the dock you have to get the skin manually , google “leopard skin for rocket dock” and you will find one.
is this work on window 7 home basic?
Haven’t tried on WINDOWS 7 Basic but i am sure it will work. since it says Windows Vista or 7
I installed it on my Windows 7 Ultimate laptop. It did install almost completely with no error. I actually didn’t even notice anything wrong but according to the transformation pack menu, there were some files that needed repairing, I did a full repair which took about 45 seconds, and it restarted. Now it has no issues and looks great, I also love how the task bar has the small icons option to really give it the OS X feeling.
The only annoyance I had was the pop up windows sound which kept repeating at start up and at random times while using the computer, even though I wasn’t selecting anything, but I easily fixed that by muting the sound effect for that command.
Otherwise this is the most amazing,and most simplistic transformation pack I have ever used for Windows that really makes it look real.

To get rid of annoying sound please follow these simple instructions!
First goto Control Panel > sound from their change your system “Sound Scheme” to “Windows Default” hit Apply and OK
This will surely fix the prob.
I’ve tried the one click transformation and it works really great indeed!! Only one problem, the windows logo continues to show in the upper left corner…
When installing i got an error that a file was missing, maybe that’s the problem? Maybe install in safe mode?
Also 1 question, when I noticed the windows logo I wanted to transform back to Windows but the folders in the images folder where still mac folders…

works excellent and gives the perfect look with the sounds. really amazing and gives a fresh look to the desktop. just love it!
Those who get blank screen (accept for wallpaper,do the following:
press CTRL + ALT + DEL.
1.If you use windows 7,continue
Windows Vista/XP users skip to step 3.
2. Click ‘Run task manager’.
3. Click on File
4. Click ‘New Task (Run…)
5. In the search bar, type ‘explorer’ (without Quotes).
And you shall have your PC working!
Blank screen does NOT mean black screen

…after having installed and de-installed the snow transformation pack, certain programms cause the following problem:
the ui is missing. the programm opens, i see the window, but the whole text-based ui is missing and i see only empty space.
this happens with “always-sync” and with the licensing tool by autodesk.
help please!

Thanks. Working like a charm on Windows 7 64-bit! Here’s a small reminder: don’t forget to set your User Account Control to ‘zero’ and then – very important – restart your computer… and only then, install the pack. In the end, instead of choosing reboot option, make it a raw reboot – power off/power on. It worked for me. Byes
How do you get rid of the pack if you decide to go back to Windows 7? Seems to cause a lot of problems :/

Awesome. Just awesome. Oh, and I already patched my PC, but it still shows that Aero start button.
Install the theme files and use the Start Button changer to change the start orb.

so ive installed it, and it works amazing. ive never been happier with my laptop, ONLY problem i have is with the taskbar. when i say use small icons in properties, it makes the taskbar slimmer giving it a more genuine look, BUT leaves a transparent shadow just below it, so when i have windows open such as safari or any folders, the shadow overlaps on the top of the programs window . .. how do i fix this?

I had this installed and it worked, i deinstalled when i did not like it anymore. but all my icons are still like they were with the theme… i want my windows 7 icons back.
i tried a registry cleaner, also removed iconcache.db etc

hi, i’m gaurav from india. i love this transformation pack but when i install it and system restarts then my audio device just stops working. I don’t know why that happens. As soon as i remove this pack from my computer audio starts working, infact while uninstalling the pack audio starts working. I’ve tried installing sound driver while being in mac theme but it did not help. pls mail me a soln for this problem at gaurav594@gmail.com … i want to use this transformation. also the rocket dock says it can’t load the icons n asks to load defult icons, if i say yes all icons are – “?”.. Plssss help

for those who are having trouble with the task bar and the likes, the remedy is to download the one click installer. It would do all the copying and u don’t have to struggle. Just down load the “One Click Transform your Windows 7 to Mac OS X Snow leopard” under related articles on top left of this page. Scroll to the top and u can see it on ur right, just next to the snow leopard image.

It changes the size of command buttons in internet explorer to a size to small to be read. Any thoughts?
