Download Firefox 3.6 Alpha 1
Today Mozilla has finally released the Firefox 3.6 Alpha 1 web browser. However the codename for the version is Namoroka.
As with Firefox 3.5, there are improvements to the performance; pages render faster, and pages with JavaScript code run much faster with the new Tracemonkey engine.
Unlike the year that passed between Firefox 3 and Firefox 3.5, we expect that this 3.6 release will be released in a small number of months. Our main focus for the 3.6 release will be end-user perceived performance, TraceMonkey and DOM performance and new web developer features.
