Google Chrome OS is neither launched officially nor there is any Leaked version. But Yes, we can give a look of unreleased Chrome OS to Windows XP.
All those people who are interested to visualize the new operating system from Google, Can Transform their Windows XP to look like Google Chrome OS with the help of Google Chrome OS Transformation pack for XP.
Instructions:
Just download Chrome V4 and follow the steps given below:
First of all copy the “Chrome_XP_V4_by_leonex.rar” downloaded file and extract the files in “C:\Windows\Resources\Themes”
After successfully extracted click on the “ChromeX” .theme file and choose the theme style as you like.
There have been no Official Google Chrome OS screenshots to imitate in transformation pack but, its an effort to give a simple Google OS look to XP.

with the release of Google Chrome and Microsoft Bing search engine, one would expect that there would be a very stiff competition between Google and Microsoft.
Chrome OS is just based on Linux and it is not really a “real” proprietary operating system from Google. i wonder if Google would also compete with MS Windows in the future.
I have installed Chrome OS on one of my laptops. Well, it feels like Ubuntu GUI the first time i use it. It is pretty much very basic.
I have tried using Chrome OS in one of my desktop PC’s, the overall performance is above average to excellent .
