How to use Proxy with Google Chrome

Previously i posted How to use Proxy in Firefox. Today i will be sharing an easy way to configure proxy server in Google Chrome.

Just Follow the simple steps mention below:

Step 1 : Click on the wrench icon at the top right corner of the Chrome window

Step 2 : Choose the “Options” settings from the drop down menu

Step 3 : Select the “Under the Hood” tab and then click  “Change proxy settings” under the Network heading

Step 4 : Click on “LAN settings” which can be found under the “Local Area Network (LAN) settings

Step 5 : Select the box that says “Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections)” and then enter the address and port details in the boxes below. When your done, hit the “OK” button.

Note: Changing and Configuring the proxy settings for Google Chrome will also be affecting other programs such as Internet Explorer and Outlook.
