Sticky Note Like Widget For Ubuntu Linux

In Windows vista or 7 we have the neat sticky note widget, which can be used as a to-do list or for jotting down notes.

Unfortunately in ubuntu we don’t have the so called “Sticky notes” widget and for those who shifted from windows to ubuntu linux are suffering from this dis-advantage.

Thanks to Xpad for ubuntu which works alternative to the sticky note application in windows. With Xpad in ubuntu you can even change the background or text color just like the windows version of sticky note.Checkout some of the screen shots below :

    Hmmm, right-click Gnome panel > Add to panel > Sticky notes. Easy as this.
