It's sorta like getting the cow delivered to your doorstep everytime you need milk. What happens if you need to re-install 300MB file? Download it again? Not everyone is lucky enough to have a fast connection. What happens if you have 20 machines on which you need to install the software? Download it 20 times? No senor. This is 2010. Every piece of software should be able to update itself, or pieces of itself. Online [web] installers are just plain stupid.
